Who we are

This website is operated by MMetrix Ltd (“MMetrix”, “we”, “us”), a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17486426) and based in London, UK. We are the controller of the personal information described in this notice. You can contact us about privacy at support@mmetrix.co.uk.

What we collect

When you email us, or use the contact form, we receive the information you choose to send — typically your name, email address, organisation and the content of your message.

The contact form sends your message straight to our inbox. It’s delivered by Resend, an email delivery service that handles it on our behalf, and this website doesn’t keep a copy.

Technical information

• Our hosting provider processes technical data such as IP addresses in server logs, to deliver the website and keep it secure. The contact form also briefly uses your IP address to stop it being flooded with spam.
• Our fonts are served by Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when a page loads.
• We don’t use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers. If you switch between light and dark mode, that preference is saved in your browser’s local storage and never leaves your device.

How we use your information

We use what you send us to respond to your enquiry and, where relevant, to manage a resulting business relationship. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us, or taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.

Sharing

We don’t sell your information. We share it only with service providers that help us run our business — such as our email and hosting providers — or where the law requires it. Some of these providers, including Resend and our hosting provider, are based in the United States, so your information may be processed there.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry correspondence only for as long as we need it to respond to you and to manage any resulting relationship, then delete it.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, and to restrict or object to how we use it. To make a request, email support@mmetrix.co.uk. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
